The MyHeritage Basic subscription is the free family site subscription. Signing up to MyHeritage is free, and it lets you build your own family site. Basic family sites are free to create.
What does the Basic subscription include?
A MyHeritage Basic family site includes:
Up to 250 people in the family trees you build. This limit covers all family trees on the site, whether you created them online or in Family Tree Builder and published them to the site afterward.
500 megabytes (MB) of storage space on your family site for the photos and scanned documents you add
If you created your family tree in Family Tree Builder, you can sync it with your online family site as long as the tree does not go over 250 people.
What happens when my family site reaches the Basic limits?
If your MyHeritage Basic family site has more than 250 people, you can view your family tree, but you can’t add more people to it.
To add more people or get more storage space, upgrade your family site subscription. See: How do I upgrade my family site subscription?
If a paid subscription ends, your family site returns to a Basic free account. See: What Happens to My Family Tree When My Subscription Expires?
Where does the Basic subscription apply?
The MyHeritage Basic subscription applies to one family site. Each family site can have its own subscription.
How can I compare plans?
To compare all MyHeritage plans, see: What Types of Subscriptions Does MyHeritage Offer?
