How do I purchase a data subscription on my MyHeritage App?

A data subscription is an annual subscription that allows you full access to the MyHeritage Search Engine - Heritage’s research tool that allows you to search within more than 30 billion records from around the world.


There is a lot of useful content on the MyHeritage Search Engine to explore. It includes exclusive records from all over the world that, in most cases, are only available on MyHeritage.


We’re constantly adding new data to the MyHeritage Search Engine, with at least one million historical records plus one million family tree profiles added each day. This means that even if you don’t find what you’re looking for on our search engine, chances are we’ll have it for you very soon.


To purchase a data subscription on your mobile app, please do the following:


1. Log in to the app on your mobile device and tap on the ‘Research’ tab.



2. Search for the information you are trying to find.



3. If you have found a record and would like to view it but do not have a data subscription, you will be prompted to purchase a data subscription by first choosing the type of membership you want. Payment options vary depending on the device you are using.


If you use Android, you may purchase a subscription through your device’s browser. Simply click on the "Buy now" button and fill in the requested information.



If you are using iPhone, you will be able to pay by logging into your App Store account using your Apple ID.


Once purchased, you will be able to view any record using your smartphone immediately.


**Please note that the appearance of the App’s features may vary slightly depending on the device you use, however, the general directions for usage are the same.
