To add another spouse/partner to someone in the tree on your family site, please do the following:
1. Open the individuals’ card and click on the ‘+’ sign.
2. Click on ‘Add another Partner’.
3. Add the partner’s details and click ‘OK’.
Note: under ‘Relationship’ select the current relationship status of the couple.
The new partner will be displayed next to the previous partners.
Note: If you need to change the relationship status between the individual and the partner that was added first, please do the following:
Click on the first partner’s profile card to open the left side panel with the details, and click on 'Edit'.
Within the 'Edit' box that appears you will now need to select the correct relationship and then click 'OK'.
Privacy note: Adding living relatives to an online family tree requires you to obtain their prior consent. Before adding living relatives below the legal age to the family tree, you must obtain the consent of their parent or guardian.
