Every new tree starts with adding yourself, your parents and your close family to the tree. Then you can grow it by adding close family to people already existing in your tree.
To add family members to your online tree, use the ‘+’ sign on an individual’s personal card in the tree.
Select the desired relation from the suggested options (son, daughter, mother, father, partner, etc.).
Use the ‘X’ button in the upper right-hand corner of this screen to go back to the family tree without adding anyone.
Based on the size of your family tree, you can also quickly add close relatives by using the guided setup available from your home page:

Privacy note: Adding living relatives to an online family tree requires you to obtain their prior consent. Before adding living relatives below the legal age to the family tree, you must obtain the consent of their parent or guardian.
