You can now filter your DNA Matches to see only those matches that have a Theory of Family Relativity™. Do this by clicking the “Filter” toolbar, select “Tree details” and then click on the “Has Theory of Family Relativity™” option. This is available in addition to the previous filtering options that show you which of your matches share places, ancestral surnames and other Smart Matches™ with you.
What to do if a theory seems correct
If you have a theory that looks good to you, congratulations! It tells you how you are related to a DNA Match, and you can view the full theory and add the new information to your tree. At present, this must be done manually. In the future, we may provide a way to do it automatically.
What to do if a theory is wrong
You can confirm the theory if you believe it to be true, or reject it if you believe it is incorrect.
New theories will have a pending status when they are neither confirmed nor rejected. This can help you keep track of the theories that you have already reviewed and evaluated. Note that confirming correct theories is not enough on its own, and we encourage you to update your family tree to include new information conveyed in any theory you believe is correct (e.g., by adding individuals currently missing in your tree who are included in the theory).
A theory can be confirmed or rejected in two places: the Review DNA Match page, which includes a summarized view of the theory, or the full theory view, both of which are explained below.

Important:
Theory of Family Relativity™ (TOFR) is not a dynamic and automatic system, and in order to generate them, the data from family trees, records, and DNA matches are analyzed. Therefore it is not recommended to delete a person's profile or family tree, to try to fix or change a certain TOFR. By doing so, it will disrupt the calculations, and we will not be able to recalculate it, even if you upload a new tree with the same information as the one which was previously deleted.
We are currently working to make it an automatic algorithm.
