Importing the MyHeritage kit to South Africa

To all South Africans,

If you intend to purchase the kit, please be advised that the kit is shipped by DHL only to the port of entry, where-after SAPO is suppose to deliver your package. This is a huge problem seeing that SAPO is absolutely useless.

I've been waiting for a month to receive my package. It spent two weeks between germany and SA before customs finally checked the package in at JIMC A. Now I need to wait for them to finally send the package to me...no one knows how long that will take!

Maybe try and request that MyHeritage ships via DHL directly to you, without going through SAPO.

DHL doesn't ship directly, in this case, I'm afraid. The delivery is the responsibility of the local post services. The Same thing is true for Spain: a kit arrives at the airport and then distributed to a post office for further delivery. One of my kits was stuck at the airport for around one month.
