Hi, I deleted my online tree and uploaded a new version of the same tree. The tree has some 9.000 persons in it but after more than three months not a single smartmatch has occurred. No other matches either. The old tree (with more or less the same content) had several thousands matches

Hi Jan,

Smart Matches are bound to a specific familytree (internal tree ID).

If You delete a tree, the Smart Matches are obsolet and will be removed, too. This means all You accepted/rejected matches have gone, too.

If You then upload a new tree, it's for Smart Match process like a totally new one and will be positioned in the process queue at the last position, like in any queue.

So, You have to wait until Your tree is in process. If You make changes in the meantime, the tree slides back to the end of the queue.

If the list of Smart Matches will be presented, You can accept/reject all these matches again.

Best regards and be patient

OK, I understand the first part about loosing the matches in my old tree, but the second part is unacceptable. At Ancestry tree matches are done in real time and data sources matches are done over time starting within days. My Heritage tree has been up since sep 17 and I have seen nothing sofar. Last in the que sounds like data processing from the 1970s. On top of that MH has decided to lower the sync frequency and I cannot use my Mac version after upgrading to High Sierra. I would like my money back for the rest of my subscription time. As it is now I get nothing and MH just takes the money
