Discoveries! being able to challenge the information

- Close

I continue to see information that has been blended to my family.... example....

Phebe Curtis -  My Phebe married William S Terwilliger and then remarried George Rowe.   The MyHeritage has linked Phebe with a Gould...  Why is the discovery only allowed to deny... and not give reason or know who is placing incorrect information on the site.

I work hard to make sure the information is as correct as possible and I do not like seeing other files with incorrect information.

I agree with you whole heatedly Lorrie. I too am finding 'smart matches' and double ups with incorrect info scattered whilly nilly through the tree. Far too much matching with no substantial backup

With MH owning Geni.com, I think the goal is a race to the ultimate 'World Family Tree'. With this in mind. so many people are feeding so much garbage into their trees. Old saying is so true: garbage in, garbage out. Smart Matches and Record Matches help perpetuate this.
