Diagrams printing on A3 paper.

Has anyone here experience with printing diagrams on A3 format? If so, how did you do it?

My biggest problems:

When I make an ancestor diagram, I select A3 in the setting, but when I save as PDF, it is much bigger than 297 by 420 mm. It would be allright when I print it, but I don't want to find out in the copy shop it's not.

When I make a descendants diagram, the width/lenght is something like 10:1. A circle diagram is better, but misses information like place of birth.

I have called MyHeritage support for advice. It was: "Maybe the print shop can give advice." Unlikely and not very helpful. Anyone reading this who has a better advice?

Hi,

I am a heavy online diagram user and I never had any problems printing on DIN A3 or any other big poster format.

Just take the pdf file as it is, choose DIN A3 as paper format and select the option for adapting the format to the choosen paper size. You don't have to do any changes in the pdf file itself, just choose the right printing options.

I don't know how much they charge in the Netherlands, my Berlin copyshop charges 12 c per DIN A3 print, so just have a try.

Good luck!
