Is there a way to run a report to find similar data points in ancestros profiles? For example, I'd like to see a list of everyone who was born and dieed between X dates, and be able to refine that by Y area. Or everyone who is listed as buried at X cemetary. If that's not possible, is there a way to extract the profile information into an Excel format so I can process there?
I have been using MyHeritage for about two weeks now, have been having a blast with it. Had a bit of a jump on things since I had some material provided in hard copy that I transfered into electronic format and once I got use to the interface things started clicking along nicely.
Along the way I generated a couple of small charts to see what they looked like. That was about a week and a half ago when I was about 300 people.
Earlier this weekend I attempted to generate a chart and this is the steps that I took:
Option 1 - I have tried All-in-One & Sun Chart
Option 2 - Style 10 and Style 11
Option 3 - Main Person: Myself with my Spouse
Title: Our Family Tree
Facts for Individuals: Dates of Birth and death
Generations: Show all generations
Printing method: Mutiple pages with the options Prevent boxes from crossing page boundries selected and paper size set for letter set
After a about an hour or so the system finally spits out:
Please generate the chart again
This has happened several times. I expected it to take a bit to generated with over 1200 people but I don't expect it to crash, I am sure there are others who have generated trees much larger than what I have gotten so far and this is not even half of what I have to input, I have a 30 page document listing the generations for my mother's side that was prepared off the LDS database arriving later this week and expect the tree to double if not quadruple within the next two weeks.
When all is said and done I expect to be able to generate and order complete charts for the heads of the various families. How can this be accomplished if your system keeps biting the dust every time I attempt to generate a chart?
This issue is still ongoing and I have yet to see or hear anything about a status from MyHeriatage other than "Can you take a survey and tell us how our support is doing" which I answered in all negatives since it has been a week and I still can't get a chart printed.
Hello, I would like to print just a PDF list of my complete family tree like you get when you use the FTB. Is there a way to do this? There should be a way to do this without having to have a tree like option?
I have tried using the FTB but have not had luck with it syncing my online information into the program. The first time I used it and generated a report (in list style) it was great but have had unsuccessful attempts there after and have uninstalled the program.
I printed a Descendant (horizontal) chart for a relative who has two ex-husbands and a current husband. The link to the first ex-husband shows a dotted line but the link to the second ex-husband shows a full line. In the online family tree, a dotted line is shown for the second ex-husband.
Looking for info on Winsor Irons born about 1837 in New York. Parents were Daniel M Irons & Sarah. Only info we have says he went west and was never heard from again. Siblings were Josiah, Adeline, & Daniel J.
