When you pull up the family tree with all the face cards. If you zoom into maximum you'll see a tiny pencil and plus symbol each about 2 pixel wide. Now can anyone figure out how to click the right pixels to activate the links?

I've seen her name is spelled many different ways: Malana, Malanie, Malura, Malainy, Malane; but phonetically it sounds like Melanie. QUINTINE is from FamilySearch, but I’ve never seen it in a document. I suspect her parents are George and Emily REA, who lived next door to John and Maline according to the 1870 census (and both men were saddlers), but I’m hoping to gain proof.

When I go to see my photos in the FTB I'm missing 42 pictures. When starting the FTB application, it begin downloading these 42 pictures from the web familie tree. But the photos will still not show up.
Trying to open/edit the picture it just show an icon and clicking the OK button give my this error message:
"Could not save the photo becouse the copy operation failed.
How can I fix this. If just I could change and select a new photo and overwrite the missing one, I don't have to create alle the associations again.
When adding a photo it is possible to add a reverse side and choose anoter photo as the reverse side. Next I would like to open and see this reversside photo, so I'm clicking the "View" buttom. Now the "MyHeritage Image Viewer" opens and show "No Image to Display"
Looking for information relating to Mary CONWAY (Downs) when she lived in Derbyshire and Staffordshire, England, prior to 1884. She was born in 1837 in Staffordshire, England, according to her death certificate. She married John DOWNS about 1862 in England. John Downs was born in Broseley, Shropshire, England, about 1835. Mary and John had sixteen children in England. She immigrated to the United States in 1884. John and most of her living children immigrated to the U.S. at some point. Her death certificate says her father is Michel Conway born in Ireland and her mother is Mary of Ireland. Mary’s husband John was a coal miner and they were very poor, so the children began working at young ages. England 1881 Census says Mary was born in Chester, Chestershire, England.
Has any one else experienced issues with the upgrade to version 8 from the previous version?
I was unable to save any changes and reported this; to which I received a reply to thank me and that it was indeed an identified bug. After waitiing a couple of weeks and the bug wasn't fixed, I recontacted My Heritage and the response said that I couldn't expect them to fix the bug as there were other more important issues that the team were working on. Um, okay - I would have thought the inabilty to save changes was a pretty major issue and would have taken priority. I have been patiently waiting and neither a response regarding an update (or an actual fix) has occurred.
In frustration I have exported the version 8 data back into version 7 which I still had as a exe on my laptop. I can now save BUT I can no longer view any file notes or citations (even though there is an indication by number that the note or citation exists).
I tried to see if syncing was the issue so I have deleted my whole tree and member details off the site (there were no questions asked, the team gladly deleted my details even though I indicated why it was necessary to take such a drastic action).
My latest attempt to save my extensive data was to export the tree into Legacy (on recommendation from a friend who uses that software) but I still cannot see the citations and notes.
Please - is there anyone who can help me out???? If this occurred to you what was the outcome?
Just installed FTB 8.0.8333 on my another computer. I wanted to load my family tree from the website, but it fails with error.
The error says that I must upgrade my account else I cannot synchronize more than 1100 persons. WTF? I have premium account, 1753 persons in my tree and there are still 747 persons remaining. But it loads only 1100 persons into family tree builder!!!!
I have turned the option "sync projects automatically to my site" to NO, however it keeps doing it. It is unnecessary since I have not recently edited my tree, and it is highly annoying as it saps up my whole internet connection for a minute or so, and that causes havoc with anything I am doing at the time that requires a steady internet connection.
Is this a known bug, or is it operating as designed?
The problem is worse than since the previous version of FTB, because then it only would do this if FTB had been used since the last time the computer was turned on. So a reboot would fix it. It also used to just do it once a night, so it was tolerable, but now it happens every few minutes, which is just mental.
Although I may know the birth date of offspring that I add subsequent to the first that I have recorded, even though the second enrty predates the first, I can find no way to control the order in which they appear, either in Family Tree Builder or the web site.
When I generate an ancestor report in FTB, some information does not appear - the decription fields of many fact types does not show. For example, crime, occupation, religion, anecdote, and a whole stack more. I checked - I have information in the decription field, but for these and others, the decription field does not print, meaning the report is incomplete. The date and location print OK, but this is not as important for these facts as the descripton field.
Sometimes the description of occupation does appear, but on the ext line down, which is a waste of paper.
Also irritating is that notes are grouped together at the end of the report, without information as to which person they refer to (in my tree, I have 8 people named "John Negus", so referring to a note as belongting to that name does not help). Surely the notes should appear directly with the other data on that person!
I have noticed that if I select a person and want to edit them, the name and surname is blank, it just doesn't appear in their details anymore. On the FTB I can see it, just not in the detail anymore. For some people though, the name still appears. Please have a look at my screenshot if it's not clear what I mean.
I am on the latest version. Does anyone experience the same problem? I am afraid that I am loosing data. I think we all pay enough to have our data kept safe.

A few weeks ago I had 2200 people, now I have twice that. I have added some people via SmartMatch, but I've been aggresively purging duplicates at the same time. I stopped using Discovery since nearly all of the "finds" are duplicates, and still I'm adding an order of magnitude more people that I intend.
I run the duplicate report and I get 220 now (up from 60 a few weeks ago). WHen I go to the 100% duplicates I find entire families duplicated, so I'll delete a dozen or more people. Then I sync and I have more. It seems like if I add anyone via SmartMatch since the beginning of the month I get dozens added when I thought I have added 3 or 4.
At the beginning of the month I was down to a few thousand unreviewed SmartMatches (out of 30,000) and no family trees or individuals with more than 3. Now it's telling me I have over 50,000 matches, and 12,000 unreviewed.
It seems all my effort to clean my data are resulting in more dirty data.
you all have double my people on my heritage and now noone will respond to my emails. the told me there was a bug in family tree builder that did it since i was smart matching from my phone, and now i have to delete all of your mistakes. i think is is unfair especially since your program caused all this problem
WTF has happened with Ver 8? I have gone from a reasonably content user to one who is pulling his hair out in frustration. If I manage to load a Project, it does not save so I have to then save a new Gedcom, backup on line and backup on my computer. 90% of the time I am unable to Sync (upload or download), or unable to load a saved backup. I now have so many Projects I do not know what is what.
Customer support is an oxymoron; no reply for over one month apart from the automated reply. What else is out there that actually works?
I am a Premium Plus member for the past 6 years and I sent a complaint 9 days ago to the helpdesk under Ticket # 2016100410008007 but to date nobody has replied to my issue.
I am entering death information and burial informantion. I go back to enter more information and the death info has disappeared and in some cases also the burial info - also and extra line in the facts has been added that I cannot delete.
I am in the main a daily user and this issue has become so frustrating I am thinking of looking for another software to transfer my family tree to. The fact that in 9 days nobody from the help desk has contacted me also has left me with a sour taste
