Family Tree Builder will not accept Heritage password, even after I reset it. Then tried uninstalled and reinstalled. This is the free Tree Builder. I tried the 8774323125 contact phone number and was connected to Verizon service menu. This one of the few sites that has no contact email connection. Doubt that I will renew Heritage.
I am a MyHeritage member and a new Mac User and altho' I have downloaded the program to my MacBook I cannot open it. A message refers to something along the lines "the developer has not been approved". What do I do now? I have had the program on my Windows PC and have removed same. Thanks.
So today came the inevitable. It's not possible to add more people to my tree. Today, I have 322 673 individuals in the tree and there it´s stop. Attempted to delete a person to try to find the error, but it is not possible to delete a person or change data for any person. -restarted the computer ... no change. Deleted program and reinstalled it ...... no no change
Have been unable to synk my tree for 10 months and the support says they have been aware of the problem with big trees but have no answer to if / when they plan to correct the error. Sad to not be able to continue with trees that have taken 20 years to build.
I started using Myheritage Builder today after having neglected it for over a year. I almost immediately ran into a rather big problem: whenever I edit a person, the name-fields are empty. The header will display the correct, full name.
As soon as I start entering text in the empty fields, the header information for this person changes to whatever I fill in, thereby deleting everything I filled in last year.
If I enter the full name as shown in the header in the text-fields, it works like it should: editing this person again will show all name fields filled with the correct text.
This is a big problem for me, I can not go through all my persons and enter the full name information again.
Computer: Windows 10 Home version 1703 (Dutch). Myheritage Family Tree Builder version 184.108.40.20697. Apart from the WIndows updates nothing has changed to my setup.
I also noticed something else: I can not use Family Tree builder full screen. On my 1680x1050 screen, the window will not go full screen, but seems to be limited to around 1400x800.
I recently uploaded a large Gedcom built with a old geneology software into the Family Tree Builder. I have a problem where some of the first names of individuals that are in my family tree do not appear in any reports - only the last name appears. This is consistent i.e. the first name of the same individuals are missing no matter what report I run. I have tried a number of things to remedy this such as removing the individuals and re-adding them using different methods with limited success. It seems to be happening with the lastest additions to my Family Tree Builder. This is very unfortunate as we are planning on publishing a book with the descendants and ancestors of my great-grand-father using the custom reports available in the program. I'm hoping this bug can be resolved. I can send sample reports.
I wonder if anyone could be of help. I have spent about 2 years building up my family tree and recently every time I access it i find all my photos have vanished. I upload them all again (or add new ones) but when I access the tree a few days later those photos, files etc arent there. Lord knows why, but has anyone else encountered similar problems.
My cousin started a family tree site here on my heritage. We are cousins so have common relatives. I want to investigate my limb of the family tree and start my own site here at my heritage. Can i download the data to the computer program and upload it back to my new site and delete his limb of the tree that has stuff i do not want? I cant seem to get this to work after searching here and the web for help. I plan to then get the premium subscription for more research but dont want to be doing it on his tree that is very cluttered.
I just upgraded Famil Tree Builder to lastest version 220.127.116.1197 and now when I create reports and want to change the report options, this new version has the report options link greyed out. Has anyone else had this problem??

Do I need/have to "clean out" my site before I can upload it to a Gedcom file?. I have many duplications and according to the Tree Checker questionable info. It will take some time to make my site absolutely "clean". Am contemplating to upload my GEDCOM to Ancestry. Can someone help ??
I am connected to my cousin's family tree. I just bought an unlimited membership and want to start my own family tree. How do I do that? It says I can't change my cousin's tree and does not offer a choice to start a new one.
I had created my Family Tree using the Family Tree Builder, where I had entered names, dates and connections between family members. I had entered 233 names in total. However I upgraded to version 8 0 0 8397. Since then all I can see in my Family Tree are the numbers from 1 to 233 but all the names and dates are missing - can I get them back?
Using special characters in passwords prevents the FTB from being able to login to the account. I have to use a less secure password in order to sync my data. I know I am entering the correct password as I am able to log in on the site. This oversight should be rectified.
I have just downloaded FTB. On my main site I seem to have several versions of my tree. FTB indicates "There is a conflict between the version of your family tree on the family site and the version in Family Tree Builder". I am finding this all very confusing and can't find an email address to ask directly. Is there a simple explanation please.
