Wanting to find any information on Heinrich Warnecke born 1825 and dying 1903. Heinrich was from Hannover, Germany and came to Australia in 1863 on the ship La Rochelle.
He settled in Roma Queensland with his wife Christina maiden name Sefilke/Seggwelki and had children Heinrick 1851-1923, Maria 1853-1909, Augustus and Conradine also known as Dinah/Diana, Anna 1868-1882.
Can anyone give details on the backup services offered by MyHeritage? I know it is backed up on your computer, wondering if you can only use it if continued to pay for services or how it can be used in future. What are the advantages of paying for this service? Thanks in advance.
I have seen a DAR emblem on a card but have not been able to find anything in the manual or in the forums that covers this issue. We have family members who are DAR, SAR and DAC members and I would like this to show on their info and card.
I am finding a one year old (deceased) that had 2 husbands and 4 children and another relative that had 3 children born before the mother. I emailed the provider for the first listing and never had a response and the incorrect info is being duplicated over and over again. On the second one, I decided to delete the 3 children born before their mother and not download someone else's record if it seems fishy or has more siblings or children, etc. than my records, but print it out and enter data myself.
I initially found the errors by using the Tree Consistency Checker. After figuring out the errors, I was able to find that the 3 children belonged to another father and mother.
The Checker prompts you to mark people deceased who are too old - when there is not a death date, points out duplicate records, differences in spelling, etc. Good Tool!!
How can you first of all as user resolve problems/questions by yourself:
In Family Tree Builder (FTB):
This is the screen which opens on your computer when you click on the pictogram of MyHeritage Family Tree Builder software program.
Click on Help in the upper taskbar and in the dialoguebox which opens, click on UserGuide. The UserGuide of the current FTB will be downloaded as a pdf.file. I suggest that you save this file to your computer, so you can always consult it when you like. At the end of it you can find the Index, search for the subject you want to find an answer for and go to the page as shown to you, and you can always print this part which you would like to use.
On the Familysite:
Go to the bottom of the Start-screen, look under Support and choose for Help by clicking on it. You are now in the Helpcenter and that's subdivided in 10 mainsubjects. Search for the subject which probably can answer your problem/question and click on it.
When you can't find your answer, then search in the forum to the concerning mainsubject and look if your questin or problem has been raised before and when not, post your problem/question and describe in a summary the problem or question.
