I feel so taken that I went for this. The information is totally wrong as I know from other DNA tests taken with my family that showed totally different results. This is nothing but a scam to upgrade, you can't see any records without paying, so what was the payment for - bogus results? I did not need informaiton on my marriage, birth or address records, I know about me, but thanks for that free info because that was all that was free.
I paid for a DNA kit 10 days ago from this company and 1 from two other companies as well. The other two arrived in 2 days and have already been sent back for testing. How can I track my kit or get my money back?
My kit is ready for returning. Sending such material is not allowed to be sent abroad from the UK by Royal Mail. I was shown the rules at the Post Office. It is classified as biological material. Please advise how your other UK clients return their's.
Occasionally I get an email offering to add photos to my tree.-, which is great, because I'm at the stage of rarely adding new people, but I am keen to add detail.
HOWEVER, when I go through the process of selecting photos and adding them to my tree, and then synching to FTB, the photos do not automatcally appear in the FTB tree - To make them appear I have to go into that person's photos, where the photo is, but it is not selected as the personal photo. The checkbox for making the photo the personal photo does not operate.
I found a work-around, which is to remove the current association, then add a new association pointing to the same person as the one just removed, which then causes it all to operate the way it should.
I think the program is not setting some variable when the photo is added, to indicate that there is now a photo there. When the photo is added to a person that already has a photo, it all seems to be OK, but when the photo is added to a person without a photo (which is usually the case) the above problem occurs.
So I opened the vile and dropped it and the liquid spilled out and Im not sure what to do. I havent done the swab test on that side, it is just water on it? Its just empty, just need some advise on what to do.
So, I ordered a kit and sent it in August 28th. I saw the notice about things being delayed because the hurricane, but my status still hasn't changed at all. Still just shows the my kit has been activated, it not updating to kit received. Was it lost in the mail or something?
I am so upset. My DNA results have me being 35.5% Iberian. No one in my family is from Spain or Portugal. Mother is dutch, Germam, English. Father is German, Irish, English. I show 0 ancestry going back to 1500's from this area. This has caused me so much distress. Both of my parents are passed. So many questions.
I am getting very unhappy have heard nothing, think maybe I got hyped out of my money... order number= 366505321 what are results do not tell me to call because that is a waiting game i never win already lost over 45min waiting for some one to answer and then get cut off. I thing NEWS reporter at KGUN9 will answer his phone a lot faster. This program along with 23and me need to be looked into.
I have posted a kit back to you 13 Business days ago from London UK and you have not updated the tracking page as it being received. While I understand there has been an extremely serious weather catastrophe, I see nowhere on your website any news about what has happened to all the kits which must have been sent to you over the last few weeks. Also if kits reach you so late how credible would the results be? Could you please update your website accordingly and not let us in the dark? Many thanks. Frankie.
My wife and I ordered kits, received them the same day and mailed them back the same day. I received an email that my wifes kit was received at the lab on Sept3 (2017). Mine has not been received. I contacted them by a Face Book message and the said the storm in Houston had caused a dely. I fully understand! This morning I received a reply (FB) from them saying to wait 2 weeks and monitor if it had been received. Come on! our kits may not have arrived at the lab on the same day - fine - but 2 weeks? rediculous! They have a statement on their site about the lab being on the 8th floor and kits are safe. My reply was at some point these kits were on some road/highway in Huston and at some point on the 1st floor of the building. The kits were somewhere in transit after the storm hit Houston. They advertise results in 4 weeks. Even if it's still on it's way (fat chance) it will be a minimum of 4 weeks before they even say they received it. No offer from them to send a new kit immediately. Extremely bad customer service.
