So, no customer service (the Swedish telephone number doesn't even exist!), I have called several other country numbers and left messages without getting a reply, or simply gotten a generic "we are unavailable" message. I have never experienced anything like this.
Please forward this message to this mythical "moderator forum", since I want a refund for all 5 kits I ordered.
I am extremely disappointed in my results I received this morning. I was adopted from Korea as a baby. However I found out today that the possible results do not consider Korea as a possibility at all. I feel this information was very misleading and my results turned out to be completely useless as I have no idea how accurate these estimations are. I would like to speak to someone regarding the results as they are clearly inaccurate.
I have asked for a refund prior to receiving the 6 DNA kits that I had ordered. I've email the support email 6 times and I am still awaiting an outstanding refund. This falls under the cancellation clause with the T&Cs. How can I get this resolved?
My mother was born in Scotland from Scottish parents (way back). My father was born of a Scottish mother (also way back) and an Irish father (harder to pin down). When I got my 23andme results I got the expected 90% British result. The rest was a smattering of Northwestern European DNA with a .2% being Finnish.
I uploaded my raw data to your site, while I considered whether or not I wanted to join. I got a lot of weird results. I did get around 70% British. However, it's very unlikely that I'm 17% Scandinavian and almost 10% Finnish as your ethnicity estimate would have me believe. There is also no way that I'm 4% Greek. Could you please explain how your results can be so off from both my family tree and 23andme? Has there been an error? You're using the same raw DNA sample. I'm very confused.
It would be nice if you answered here how this could be, just from a scientific standpoint. I have found many posts like this with a suggestion that the issue be handled privately. This doesn't really help any of your customers understand what seems to be an error.
My result show no Italian DNA whatsoever. My mother is italian from both side of her family, with Italian names, and family still leaving there from Milan to Calabria.
I was expecting some "surprises" ,DNA you would not expect to have and was ready to embrace those but it is purely impossible not to have any (0%) of Italian DNA. A mere 10% would have raised suspicion but 0% is simply inexact.
Was there a mix up at the laboratory or shall seriously doubt the truthfulness and accuracy of the results coming from your company?
I have just spent over 45 minutes waiting for support only to be #2 in line (started at #12) and was cut-off! I called back and I was #17 in line. Hung up! Called back and requested Sales only to be switched to Support and being told that they are now closed for the holiday! I called the Canadian number and the same thing!
I've just about had it with this company! My family tree was apparently updated/synched on 11/16 but I DIDN'T SYNCH or UPDATE IT! The data is in my tree is now over 2 years old! This has happened before.
I suggest that someone from this company contact me and resolve these issues. In the interium, my money will go to Ancestry where I know I can depend upon support! I will continue to post this message in all forums if it is deleted.
How are the privacy settings used in SmartMatch? I want my invited members to be able to read notes and view pictures. If I set these items viewable to the members they are also published in the SmartMatch view. How do I set the privacy to hide the information in SmartMatch?
If you intend to purchase the kit, please be advised that the kit is shipped by DHL only to the port of entry, where-after SAPO is suppose to deliver your package. This is a huge problem seeing that SAPO is absolutely useless.
I've been waiting for a month to receive my package. It spent two weeks between germany and SA before customs finally checked the package in at JIMC A. Now I need to wait for them to finally send the package to me...no one knows how long that will take!
Maybe try and request that MyHeritage ships via DHL directly to you, without going through SAPO.
How can my full sister and I only share about 21% ethinticity? I am 79.6% N and W European and 20.4% English. She shows being only 0.9% N and W European and 65.4% English. She has 3 other regions also that don't show up for me at all.
Just got my results and was shocked along with my family that I have 0% Native American in my DNA. My family geneology has tracked us back to documented census reports that outline we have Native American.
I registered the DNA kit online, and screwed up because 2 of us are doing the DNA. I have been trying to get through to support all day and I even left a message and nobody will call me back. I am screwed, I wish I had never bought this.

Where is my DNA? I have waited so long for my results, My Name is Janice Smith O'Shaughnessy they where sent to you to along with David Howes which this DNA has had a result on the 19th of September. I have paid for my own results I am not very imprest with your service and therefore would like my Money returned immediately, otherwise I will take this further I have written several e-mails and not one has been answered. I will use another Company that's more reputable, as I have read on Facebook it is just a SCAM!
A cousin has died. His widow keeps getting news letters addressed to him upsetting her (they shared email address). I had recorded him as dead and deleted his email from his contact details. I also deleted him from site members. She still wanted the news letters but in her name. I sent an invite under her name but it arrived addressed to her late husband. This situation must arise on a regular basis so why is there not a simple or obvious fix for this? I find this embarrising and frustrating. Can any one help? Thanks.
The Book Report does not print changes or additions in the notes field unless another field is also updated or changed such as birth location. Data on website appears updated and ok but same problems on book reports. Gedcom appears OK. What is going on?
I'm not able to upload any new DNA results, since last Saturday. The upload animation never completes and its the same result regardless of browser. I have reported the issue but have not heard anything back yet. Anybody else seen the same issue?
