Our family goes back five or six generations. On the Scotch side we go back to Prince Edward Island, Canada with many immigrating families, Campbell, Murchison, Martin and MacKenzie. On the Burton side, there are more Brittish immigrants, some of whom fought in the Revolutionary War. Catherwood family goes back to Scandanavia and Ireland.

Naturally, the site encircles my ancestry, but it has an extensive descendant collection of many immigrating ancestors. Therefore, you will also see a great many individuals who are barely related. I would like to welcome the family and the tremendous work of Leonard Campbell . We are paid up till 2020 or so, but if you'd like to contribute to this subscription, I would love it and I'll help (or do) your tree connection to make it relevant for you.
Photos are the heart of this program, giving us faces for our ancestors and distant cousins.
There are errors in this profile. Mary was my grandmother and she died in 1974. Her husband Angus Alexander MacLeod died in 1932 when my father was eleven. Mary did not have a son by the name of Alexander but she did have a son Angus Alistair Macleod, born April 25, 1912 and died March 3, 1967.
