Charles L. Kline This is about the 'clearest' spelling of the ship Christian U. Laib arrived on in port of New York, Nov 21, 1857. Ancestry.com, also FamilySearch.org have the ship name listed as (Negon). I've researched ships, but have not found a ship (Negon)

I believe the ship name is 'Oregon'. I researched this ship name; although there is 2 ships with this name, they were not built until the 1880's and after. If anyone has further information, please advise.
