TENNANT— The Friends of Miss Cecilia Mary Tennant late of Rockhampton, are invited to attend her Funeral, to move from the Funeral Parlour, Stanley Street, South Brisbane. This ( Saturday) Forenoon at 10 o'clock to the Toowong Cemetery. BRISBANE UNDERTAKERS PTY LTD, 537 Stanley St, South Brisbane
Lived at "Naomi" Bolsover St, Rockhampton 1906, she also lives with her friends the O'Sheas - Michael Joseph, plasterer, Bride, teacher and Nora (of no stated occupation.)
In the 1920s she moves to Blackall, where she is listed as a resident of two hotels in succession, O'Sheas Royal Hotel and the Prince of Wales, and states her occupation as companion.
By 1933 she has shifted to Brisbane where the O'Shea sisters are living. Bride is teaching at Fortitude Valley infant school, and Nora living in the Regatta Hotel in Toowong. Takes a room at the Arcadia Hotel in Elizabeth St in the city, run by her friends, the Dallons, Kathleen and Patrick have run hotels in Rockhampton and now they have the licence here. In 1938 Nora O'Shea lodges the notification of her death.
