Tennant: The relatives and friends of Mrs W.J. Tennant (No. 3 Ethel St, Hyde Park), Mr and Mrs H. Fuller (Sydney), Mr and Mrs R. Edmunds (Brisbane), Mr and Mrs R. Jordan and Family (Brisbane), Mr and Mrs G.W. Petersen and Family (Oakenden, Mackay), Mr and Mrs V. Christensen and Family (Ayr), Mr and Mrs D. Stephenson and Family, Messrs Charles and Francis Tennant, Mr and Mrs H.H. Whittington (Mackay) and Mr and Mrs C. Tennant and Family (Rockhampton), are respectfully invited to attend the FUNERAL of their beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Brother-in-law, and Uncle, WILLIAM JOHN TENNANT, which will move from St Mary's Church, Flinders St, West End, THIS (Wednesday) MORNING, at 11 o'clock. OBITUARY

Mr William John Tennant, a retired Railway employee, passed away at his late residence in Ethel St, Hyde Park, in the early hours of Tuesday Morning. Mr Tennant was born at Clermont 74 years ago and as a young lad joined the P.M.G. Department. He served with this Department at Muttaburra, Bowen, Musgrave, Herberton & Innisfail, before joining the Railway Department in Townsville in 1916, He retired from the Railway five years ago. He is survived by his widow, six daughters, Mesdames H. Fuller (Sydney) R. Edmunds, R. Jordan (Brisbane), G.W. Petersen (Mackay), V.Christensen (Ayr) and D. Stephenson (Townsville) and three sons, Jack of Bisbane and Charles and Francis of Townsville.
