There seems to be some confusion about Moses' first wife. Some say that it was Elizabeth Poole and some say Elizabeth Kirk. Elizabeth Poole married James Kirk and they had five children. After the death of James and the death of Moses' first wife (with whom he had 8 children) elizabeth and Moses married and had 9 more children. So it appears that Elizabeth Poole and Elizabeth Kirk are one and the same.
