Cathy was united in marriage to Jeff Pierce April 18, 1988 and to this union they had two sons, Kyle Gene and Keith Brent. Together they raised their family on a farm near Mankato. She loved her husband and sons and devoted her heart to them. Cathy’s love of the farm life and all the livestock and animals that went with it brought her much joy. She enjoyed every aspect of being outside. Cathy did not know a stranger and always had an encouraging word for those she came in contact with. She remained positive throughout her debilitating illness. Cathy was baptized at the United Methodist Church in Burr Oak, Kansas. April 11, 1954.
