MR. AND MRS. LUDBEY
Holy. Trinity Church, Hobart, was the setting on February 3 for the marriage of Shirley Jean, . elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Gar- wood, New Town, and Basil Keith, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Ludbey, of West Hobart.
Canon F. J. McCabe officiated.
The bride wore a gown of silk all-over lace over pale .cream slip- per satin. A feature of the gown was the scalloped tulle yoke border- ed with tiny pearls. The full skirt, with satin panels, fell in soft folds to form' a long train.
Her full-length embroidered veil was held with a coronet of orange
The bride carried a bouquet of water lilies, frangipanni, and cream gladioli.
The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Bev Garwood, and Miss Norma Mulcahy.
They wore full skirted frocks (springanza) of pink and blue, and matching picture hats..
Mr. Mervyn Free was best man, and Mr. Roddie Watterson was groomsman.
