Suzanne Rahm May I join your tree???? I have conflicting info about the sister of Rachel, Elizabeth Morral Hicks being my ancestress. Do you have more info on this line, that is documented??
My ancestor William Morrelll (Morrall ) 1776-1849, is said by some sources that he is the son of Thomas David Hicks and Elizabeth Morrell. Morrall. The others sources that insist that this is not true, therefore, I am confused and don not know whick way to go. Howevr, I lean towards the former.
Can you shed any light on this??

Stephen Thergesen Dear Suzanne,

1. If William was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth, wouldn't his last name be "Hicks," not "Morrell"? 2. I found a "William Hicks" who is the son of Thomas and Elizabeth (, but he was born in 1788. 3. Although I am still researching the siblings and parents of Rachel and Elizabeth, it seems more likely (to me) that, given the birth years of Rachel and Elizabeth, William could be their brother, rather than Elizabeth's son. I will keep in touch with what I find. 4. I haven't paid up my premium membership yet, so I would rather not add anyone to my tree until I am sure that it is paid for. I hope you don't mind. 5. Thanks for writing! I will be in touch!

With best regards,
