Peter J. MacDonald Ailean, I don't see any connections on Lewis between our families. Mine came to the Canada in 1875. Some of the family stayed in South Dell, Lewis.

Helen Jolly Hi Peter, thanks for letting me know the details of your site and funny that we are related (albeit far away along the line). I live in the Netherlands. I have some updates for your tree and will give you some now and some later:
My second daughter is Amy Lynn Breebaart, born 27-07-1999 in Culemborg. My date of birth(dob) is 25-08-1968. My dad's name is Alastair Morrison Jolly and dob is 17-01-1947. My mum's maiden name is McKeown and dob is 27-12-1946. More to follow. Bye for now, kindest regards, Helen

Stuart Morrison Hello Peter - some of the names on your Morrison family tree have sort of matched with details that I have which is strange. How are you connected to the Morrisons? - My grandfather came to New Zealand in the late 1800s - his name was John Morrison and had a twin brother Kenneth and there was another younger brother Philip - Philip also came to New Zealand - they were born in Sandwickhill just out of Stornoway on the Outer Hebrides. I would love to know if this is a true match or not - can you provide any deatials at all?

Best Regards
Stuart Morrison

Peter J. MacDonald My family tree collection only Scots who moved from the Isle of Lewis to Quebec, Canada. To do any matching of names to see if there is any connection between Morrisons in my family tree and yours, I'd need to know a bit more than John and Kenneth Morrison from Sandwickhill, I guess, because I don't have anyone in my Quebec database from that settlement. If none of your Morrisons came to Canada, I doubt I'd have any information on them.
