A person’s card may appear in the family tree display twice because of cyclical relations inside the tree, for example, if there's a marriage between cousins.
In that case, there will be an ‘x2 icon’ on the person's card. This indicates that though the person appears twice in the tree view, his/her personal data is not duplicated.
