How can I bring my family tree from another genealogy service?

To bring the family tree you created in another site or software to MyHeritage, you can download it as a GEDCOM file.

GEDCOM is the most widely recognized file format for exchanging genealogical data between different genealogy platforms.
​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

A GEDCOM file is a text-only file which contains all the facts, names, dates and any other written information you added to your family tree. However, it doesn’t include photos, media, and any attached files, but it may contain the links to the photos originally located in your computer.

You can consult with any other genealogy service you’re importing your tree from to get help with downloading a GEDCOM file from their platform.

Once you have the GEDCOM file, you will be able to import your tree data to MyHeritage.
