I am looking for a link to my Ambs family. My great grandfather Karl Ambs had 19 brothers and sisters but there is no record of that many in My Heritage or any other site that I have looked at. He was married to Cazilie Reck1846-1918 or Rech. And had a son Karl Albert Ambs 1889-1961, my grandfather. I have no idea if they had more than one child. My grandfather Karl Albert Ambs lived in Lahr on the Rhine and he was married to Pauline Krummhus1890-1963. I have no link to her either. I know there are many Ambs families in Germany and I am sure I am related to many of them. I wish I could go to Lahr, Germany to the Church to find these records but I can't. Is there anyone here who can help find a link?
