We are looking for information/photographs/stories of Douglas Jack Hudson and/or stories from anyone who may have served with him in the Royal Navy. Douglas Jack was born in England and died Oct 15 1940 from wounds sustained on the HMS Liverpool when it was hit by an airborne torpedo during WWII.
This is the information I have on him: He was in the Royal Navy. He was a telegraphist aboard the HMS Liverpool. He was the brother of John Henry Hudson (KIA WWI aboard the HMS Tipperary). He was the son of John Henry Hudson and Elsa Margaret Bowman(not sure if spelling of her surname is correct). I have found him on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website.
Anyone who has information, stories, or photographs to share, we would greatly appreciate it. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
