I found several records for Hugo Asping. I am not sure what information you have but here is what I found.
1890 Voter Registration- City of Chicago. Born in Sweden living at 92 Van Buren St. Has been in the US for 15 years and 11 months. Gained citizenship on March 28 1884 in Cook County Court.
1900 Census in Chicago name Hugo Aspin born August 1850 in Sweden. He is a "Policeman" and immigrated in 1870. He had been married for 10 years. They were living at 386 W Van Buren St., Chicago. His wife is listed as Nellie being born in August of 1864 in Illinois to an Irish father and French mother. Number of 2, number of living children 2. Daughter - Mary born Dec 1887 and son - George born April 1891.
1910 Census in Chicago name Hugo Asping. Here is where it gets a little weird. He was born about 1851 married to Mary E. I think this is the same family because Mary's father is listed as Irish and her mother as French just like the 1900 census. Living with them is a Mary Stoerger, who is 22 years old and is listed as a step-daughter to Hugo this time (listed as daughter in 1900.) It says her father was born in New Jersey. Mary E Asping had 3 children with only 1 living. They are living at 800 Loomis St.
Hugo Asping died 17 Oct 1913 in Chicago at the age of 63. George H Asping died 1 Oct 1908 at the age of 17.
I also found an army enlistment for Hugo from 10 Sept 1876. It says he was born in Lardrup (I can't really read it) Sweden. I also found an army enlistment for a Hugo Asping in New York from August of 1872 showing his home as New York born in Sweden...same height at the other enlistment 5 feet 11.5inches. He could have possibly been living in New York when he arrived enlisted a couple of times and then settled in Chicago. Don't know for sure if it is the same Hugo.
So it looks like Hugo did not have any descendants with George dying in 1908. It appears they had one other child between 1900-1910 that died per the 1910 census.
I focused solely on Hugo. I believe I did see a Magnus Asping in Chicago but I didn't really follow up on it. If there are other names you would like some help with, I'd be happy to see what I could find.
