Seeking Cherokee parents of Catherine HAMILTON FULLER b. 1829 d. 1907 in Gordon County, Georgia, widow of Confederate soldier Byron Jasper FULLER. Catherine is believed a full Cherokee who was taken in by the Hamiltons, a white family, when she was orphaned at an early age and hidden by them during Trail of Tears. Believed to be the same as Catherin HAMILTON who appears in 1850 census of Franklin County Georgia in the household of John Stonecypher, probably as a servant.
