I am interested in learning more about my ancestors on my mothers side. She was born Thelma Myrtle Hornsby in Eunice,Louisiana. She married Morris Franklin Hanson in the 1930s. I was born in Lafayette,La. on 8 19 1940.
I'm looking for information on my family tree, dating back from my grandfather, John Thomas Hornsby, and grandmother Doreen (nee. Davis or Davies). My family is based in the Country Durham area, but my grandfather used to live in the Thornaby and Hilton areas of the north riding of Yorkshire, while my grandmother lived in Wales until she was about 6.
