I can get up to my Great-great grand father, Morton Gunter (father of Pebble Mae Gunter who married Fred Curtis), but after that the information is difficult to come by. I have been looking for relatives in USA, in Chicago area.
My great-grandmother left Orava (district of Slovakia, former Austria-Hungar or Czechoslovakia), village called Polhora (or Oravska Polhora or Arva Polhora in Austria-Hungar times). She was Katarina Revaj (unfortunately I dont know birth name), she was married at home to guy with surname Revaj (or Revai, Revay). She went to US in early 1900´s. She re-married here to Polish immigrant with surname Zomer (or Somer, Zommer, Sommer - I am not sure). I am not sure if they had children, but maybe yes. After wedding she used surname of her new husband. She re-married after she found out that her former husband died.
I know only that I should have relatives near Chicago. My great-grandmother lived there.
Bith-place of my great-grandmother, my village, is located at north of Slovakia, at border with Poland. There is map
