Looking for Thomas Brown WATERS, christened 14 June 1779, in Lichfield St. Chad, Staffordshisre, England. Need more information on wife Sarah and his parents. He had two children, William-1797 and Sarah-1799, christened same place.
Father-- Thomas Holmes, Mother--Jeanette Hunnisette or Hunnisetti (French),
Father retired Officer Royal Navy,
Came to Australia possibly 1914-1920,
Married my Father David Edward Ruxton at Albury NSW.
Sadly she died 1962 at Bendigo Victoria,
May possibly have been adopted by Thomas Holmes (my thoughts). The only Thomas Holmes to fall into that time (RN. list) lived at times in Brooke Hall and Morningthorpe Manor of Brooke and Morningthorpe. He was I believe in charge of the the RNLI. During this period he also would have lived on the western side of England.
I am currently researching the Bodice family of Staffordshire, England. What I have found is that the spelling varies. I have found Bodice, Boddice, Boddis & many more variations. I believe that Ann Bodice born approx. 1800-1815 & lived in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England is my g, g, g, g, great grandmother. My g, g, g, great grandfather Thomas Lloyd seems to be her son. I am trying to confirm this through further research. There wasn't a marriage between Benjamin Lloyd & Ann Bodice. But there was a pregnancy. If you have any information regarding Ann Bodice or her family I would love to hear from you. My name is Becky Poppleton @ firstname.lastname@example.org Thank You

James Clark, born 2 Dec 1836 in Wolverhampton, married Sarah Smith who was born 16 Feb 1837 in England. They had a son, Walter Rutherford Clark, born 21 Nov 1865 in Wolverhampton. I don't know if they had any other children in England but around 1870 they immigrated to Canada and had 3 more children:
Ada (1876), Bertha (1878), Robert J. (1878) all of whom were probably born in Doe Lake, Ryerson, Ontario, Canada. I have more information after this but have had difficulty finding them in England as they have very common names (and Walter evidently missed the 1871 census). If you've heard of any of these people or are related to them, I'd love to hear from you.
