You didn't give a location or timeframe. A quick look at familysearch shows an Anatoly BACHNIKOWSKI on the Social Security Death Index. He was born 5-Feb-1946 and died 4-Apr-1989 in Cook Co, IL.
The IL death index has the same birth and death dates. It states he was born in Germany and that his parents were Gregori BACHNIKOWSKI and Emilia PERSCHTUK. At the time of his death he was divorced. His occupation was Machinist. He lived at 1237 North Campbell in Chicago, IL. The informant on the death certificate was Teddy MERCADO. He was buried at Glen Oak Cemetery and Urbaszewski Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
what do you mean by providing a timeframe and location. Tony was a friend of mine when I was in high school, 1962 thru 1966 and we both lived in Chicago close to the areas east and north of Humboldt Park. We lost touch after he completed his army tour of duty around 1969. I believe he attended Tuley high school during that time frame.
I would like to find out if he had a happy life. I was surprised to see that he passed at age 43. Was this an accident? I see that he was divorced. Did he have children?
where can I find more information about Mr. Bachnikowski, Sincerely, Lucy Janusz
What I mean is you just posted his name without saying where and when he lived. There was no way to tell from your initial post if you were looking for someone currently alive or someone who lived 200 years ago. Because his name looked fairly uncommon I did a quick search on it anyway and found what I posted.
The death record I found does not list a cause of death. You might want to contact the funeral home listed to see what records they have. They may have a copy of the death certificate and obituary. An obituary would tell you if he had any children.
