I am looking for more information on Johan Andreason S. Olberg who was born in Norway in 1823. He was married to Inger Sophie A. Lia or Lea who was also born in Norway. They came from Norway to Minnesota after they were married and settled in Polk County, where they stayed for the rest of their lives. Their son Andreas, Andor, or Andrew is my Great Great Grandfather. I am specifically looking for information on Johan's parents and where he might have lived in Norway. Their other children included; Ellen Marie "Mary" Olberg Rosten, Johan (John) Olberg and Carrie Olberg. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
HALONEN: I am trying to find the father of Gabriel Halonen who was born in 1875. His mother was Maria Halonen who was born in 1855 and his spouse was Elizabet Kayhko. They were married July 12, 1891 in Viipuri, Viborg, Finland. They had seven children: Anna Maria, Aina Johanna, Hulda Maria, Elsa, Uuno, Hugo, and an unknown infant who died the same day he/she was born. I come from the line of Gabriel's son Hugo Halonen. If anyone has any information in regards to who Gabriel's father was and where and when he was born, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi, I have searched for my great grandmother for about five years with no luck. Her name was Ellen Abbot on the 1881 census aged 23 born in Little Dawley, Shropshire. Later that year she married my great grandfather Robert Agar. But I cannot find any sign of her prior to that date.
On succeeding census forms she states she was born in Madeley, Ironbridge and Dawley. On her marriage certificate her father is given as James Abbot. Apparently she always told family that she was born in Little Dawley and went into service aged 9 years. There was some connection to Broseley where a relative 'worked in a china factory'(?) and we had some plates supposedly made by that peron or sent from that person.
My assumption is that either she was illegitimate and took her stepfathers name when her mother married; or her natural father died and she took stepfathers name. Or even that her employers didn't like the forename she came with and changed it. I have searched for Ellen without a surname and Abbot without a forename plus numerous variatons of 'Abbot' and 'Ellen'.
Anyone have an ideas?
I'm looking for any info on the Petee family. Mary Petee (Brown) was my great great grandmother. Her mother was Angelina Lagarde and father was John Petee. I don't know who her grandparents were and would really like to know what I can about her parents and grandparents. Her brothers were Noah and George. I'm curious as to who March was that is listed in the Census books with her when she was 17. Was that possibly her child and what happened to that child for I can't find any info after that in the Census?
I am a descendant of Thomas James Dugmore, b. 1845 in Harborne, Staffordshire, England, m. Hannah Elizabeth Warwick, b. 1856 in Moseley, Warwickshire, England. I am looking for a book about the Dugmore line entitled "Descendants of William Warwick (1746-1817), Nailmaker of Harborne" (England, privately printed, 2001, 94 pages.) The author is Bill Lyden. This book was used as a source on Family Search in relationship to my Dugmore ancestors, but there is no information as to how to find or purchase the book. I am hoping someone can help me with this.
