I am researching surnames of Dasenbrock/Braun/Hurd/Welborn. I am in particular looking for information about Bernard Dasenbrock (1802-1868) before he came to the United States. I am also against a brick wall with finding information about my grandparents Elmer and Anna Mae (Welborn) Hurd. I cannot even locate a wedding date for them. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated!
I am seeking information on Thomas Henry CURTIS born in either Boston Mass or Key West Florida (2 conflicting documents), he was listed as a Master Mariner as was his father of the same name and occupation. and his family connections in America
He arrived in Melbourne Australia 1853, married Mary Ann RODGERS melbourne 1855, Thomas Henry died in Newcastle in April 1867 he left behind a 6 year old son and a 2.5 old daughter, the son was placed into a home in Newcastle and the mother was said to return to Victoria with the young daughter we know nothing of their where abouts
Can anyone help me with tracing my grandparents details. Harris and Annie were born in Russia/Poland. He was born on 11.9.1869 and she was born on21.7.1873. They married on 3.4.1898 not sure where as I only have a translation of their wedding certificate. He died on 21.5.1927 and she died on 13 July 1927. They are buried at Edmonton Cemetry. Their eldest son was born in 1901 in London, so they must have travelled from Russia/Poland before this. They lived in the East End of London but I have no details of where they actually came from and how they travelled here. I do not know if they had any siblings. They had 5 children: Alf, Sadie, Millie, Hettie and Jack (my father). I have no -one to ask for help in the famly and keep coming up against a brick wall. PLEASE any help would be gratefully accepted.
I am searching for any information I can find regarding my material grandmother's family, the Boles family in and around the Celina, (Clay County) Tennessee area. My grandmother's name was Willie B. Boles who married Malcolm Young, both deceased. She was the oldest of many children. I believe her family lived in and the Dry Hollow area of Clay county Tennessee. From what I understand, my grandmother's mother was addopted by a Ms. Stafford in the Dry Hollow area of Clay county. Ms. Stafford died in the 1950's.
If anyone has or knows anything at all about this family I would greatly appreciate any information you could give me!
