Yesterday I received the results of my DNA-test. It turns out my DNA is 98,7% north/west-European and 1,3% Nigerian. Assuming a male descendant once visited Nigeria, how can this have resulted in me having 1,3% Nigerian DNA? Am I missing something?
Searching for more information regarding the ancestors of Leonard Scarr. Married Rose Anna Muyers in 1937 in Minnesota, USA. Looking for the names of their parents as well as their birth, marriage, and death dates.

I have an ancestor, Lucrectia Adams, born 1857 in Missouri, according to family search her father was Elsaac Adams born 1826, his father was James Riley Adams born 1803.There have been rumors in our family that Lucretia was related to John Adams and John Quincy Adams.I am trying to find the connection.I was hoping the genealogies of these US Presidents would have already been done and if there was any connection to my ancestor I could find it easily.Any references or other information would certainly be helpful.
I have been told that my gggrandfather,Peter Tait, died in Boston Cathedral around 1870-74 but do not know if this is in USA or Boston, Lincolnshire UK. Can anyone help?
If you search my Fiance on google he is the only one with his name that pops up, whereas if you search me there are several other people with my name. His last name when searched does not bring up much just the family members whom I already know of and it ends with his great grandparents. His grandfather claims his last name never changed when coming over from Poland and that it has always been the same (I have found passenger lists from the ship he came over on and it's that same). His grandfather while living in Poland was forced into a concentration camp and after everyone from the camp was liberated he came over to America. Does anyone have any idea as to why I can't find anything on his last name? I had heard about peoples names being changed while imprisoned in concentration camps but like I said before, he says his last name has always been the same. My fiance can google his last name and tell me excatly how he is related to every person that pops up. I would love to figure out relatives of his further than his great grandparents but have no idea if that's even possible. Any suggestions would be so greatly appreciated! I have been on several different surname websites and when you search his last name it comes up with nothing. Very disappointing.
