I have an ancestor, Lucrectia Adams, born 1857 in Missouri, according to family search her father was Elsaac Adams born 1826, his father was James Riley Adams born 1803.There have been rumors in our family that Lucretia was related to John Adams and John Quincy Adams.I am trying to find the connection.I was hoping the genealogies of these US Presidents would have already been done and if there was any connection to my ancestor I could find it easily.Any references or other information would certainly be helpful.
If you search my Fiance on google he is the only one with his name that pops up, whereas if you search me there are several other people with my name. His last name when searched does not bring up much just the family members whom I already know of and it ends with his great grandparents. His grandfather claims his last name never changed when coming over from Poland and that it has always been the same (I have found passenger lists from the ship he came over on and it's that same). His grandfather while living in Poland was forced into a concentration camp and after everyone from the camp was liberated he came over to America. Does anyone have any idea as to why I can't find anything on his last name? I had heard about peoples names being changed while imprisoned in concentration camps but like I said before, he says his last name has always been the same. My fiance can google his last name and tell me excatly how he is related to every person that pops up. I would love to figure out relatives of his further than his great grandparents but have no idea if that's even possible. Any suggestions would be so greatly appreciated! I have been on several different surname websites and when you search his last name it comes up with nothing. Very disappointing.

I am desperately looking to find ancestors from the male line of my family. So far, this has proven very difficult, since both my father and my grandparents have already passed away and noone else in my family seems to know anything. I have merely the following informations:
- Grandfather: Johann Grau, born in Neudorf (Sibiu County, Romania), died in Augsburg, Germany, married to Katharina Grau (born Schunn)
- Great grandfather: Georg Grau, also born in Neudorf, married to Margaretha Grau (born Lutsch, born in Hammersdorf, Sibiu County, Romania).
Apparently my family originated from the german enclave that is called Sibiu in Romania. But since all my living kin have moved to Germany a long time ago, I don't have access to any souces of information in Romania.
Regarding that I have another question as well: I am unclear as to how much a premium membership increases my chances of finding any further information about my family. Does the myheritage database even contain any files from Romania (especially the area Sibiu, but also Arad) and Hungary?
