I wonder when most people consider their research to be complete on an individual. Is it enough for you to find parents, children, spouses, and vital dates or do you need more? I tend to always be searching for more and more - all census records, directories, yearbooks, biographical information, anecdotes, but that doesn't exactly speed things along.
I have a mystery. On my side of the family I have a father that had three kids but the mother is not shown or mentioned. We have searched for some kind of reason but have come up with nothing. Could someone perhaps give a clue or perhaps even a resource for information about this happening?
