Anna Maria Jungstedt born Stierna moved back to Riga from Gotland 1759 probably with her son Gustaf Jungstedt born in Visby 1735. He was working as a peewter. I have so far found a man Jungstedt born in Riga 1772 and married 1797. Probably Gustafs son but i can not find any connections between them. Or any facts that Gustaf Jungstedt moved with his mother.
So if some one with connections in Riga can help I would be very happy.
Hi, My Grandfather's aunt was Elisabeth von Günzel (Meder) married to Arved von Günzel. Elisabeth died in 1902 in Riga, Latvia. She had two daughters Dagmar and Gertrud who died during the war around 1914 or 1915. Any digital information available of casualties of war or any information of this family is highly appreciated.

looking for relatives to Elga Krastins. She went to Denmark under 2.world war. She had a sister, Lidia(I believe) who stayed in Latvia, I believe she had a son, maybe more kids. Those will be my cousins. I heard my mother talk about Daugapils, many times. Maybe it could be a hint. I would be so happy, if anyone might know something. Thank you
We are trying to trace a NIKOLAJEW family who came to Australia via Germany after World War II.
Their DP documents state they were born and worked in Abrinow (or Abrino), Latvia, until 1944, but we can't seem to identify what or where this is.
Can anyone help?
My maternal grandfather died in approx 1962. He lived in Slough, England but apparently came from Latvia. He had changed his name to Ralph Johnson but we have little other information. I believe his family name was Rogier or something like that. He left his homeland at the age of 14. ( Riga, Latvia). Family history says he had 2 brothers and a sister. Brothers possibly in the Cavalry. Talented artists and musicians. Any leads would be gratefully accepted.
