Searching for Mavis Blair or her children Thomas, Judy & Chuck. Last contact was in 1994 at Yakima convalesent centre.Mavis was an Australian war bride traveled to USA to marry US soldier sometime between 1945-48.Any information would bee nuch appreciated.
I am searching for Mavis Ann Blair (Burrows) who left Australia after the war to marry an Americian trooper, about 1946-48. Mavis had 3 children, two of them born in Australia. Thomas, born in 1944, Judy and Chuck born in the USA. The last address i have for Mavis is at a nursing home in Yakima Ave that doesn't seem to exist now. Mavis wrote to me in 1993 with the help of a friend by the name of Sallie Rivard. If anyone knows either of these people or their whereabouts i would be very pleased to hear from you. It would be nice to converse with unknown family members.
