I am a decendent of Catharina Ledermann who was born in about 1744 in Chanz, Bayern, Gemany. Another name she may have been known by is Elisabeth Catarina Ledermann. She married Johanes Micheal Ruedolf on the 17th of February 1765. They had three children: Maria Catharina Ruedolph, Ursula Ruedolph and Benedict Ruedolph. I am trying to find information about the birth of Catharina Ledermann to solidify her birthdate. I do not have any information about her parents.
Am looking for any information on Alexander MIlls who came to America from Scotland in the late 1700,s. He settled in New York,,maybe Delaware County and sons were Alexander, Thomas, Hugh, Peter and possibly William. May have married Eunice Pearson in 1788. Thanks for your help. Karen
Is this the same Alexander and Eunice as of South Carolina??
Listed as son to John MILLS and Elizabeth EDWARDS, of PA.
If there are any present day male MILLS, possibly this is a different family of MILLS than they are?? If they might consider doing a dNA test to see who all they may match with. That is, when all else has been exhausted, paper trail.
Of those who have already tested over 100.
If they have become garbled with another similar same named couple, would be very interesting to see what the results might bring.
Although, those names you list does not seem to be on the particular file I have on my MISC MILLS file.
Is PEARSON the correct spelling for Eunice?
Have you checked all the other web sites, that have them listed?
Ray Mooberry was born in Tazewell County, Ill on May 16, 1875 and died in Morten, Ill on Jan 28, 1877. His tombstone says son of A.M. and M.L. Mooberry. My great, great grandparents were Alexander M. and Mary Lott Mooberry. I know when all of their children were born and cannot fit Ray in either as a twin or a preemie and have not found another AM and ML Mooberry in my research. I have searched every path that I can think of to identify this child with no luck. Does anyone know who he is? Thanks
