My 2nd cousin, Judi Hearst Weissman has a couple of photos that her dad, Arthur Hearst, had when he and Captian (possibly George based on her dad writing tht first name on one of the photo) McMaster served in WW2 in United States Army. She would like to find the relatives of Captain McMaster and give them the photos of him. Arthur Heast was from Long Island, NY and served in the Transportation Corps, Battalion 756 as train engineer for General Patton and was a liberator of the German concentration camps. I am not sure if this Captain (George) McMaster was in the Transportation Corps or in Battalion 756 or had just happened to be stationed where my cousin's dad was, but apprently they became friends. Captain McMaster was in the United States Army during World War II and served in Europe/Germany, was white/Caucasion and tall (about 6 feet tall from what I can tell in the photos) and skinny. These photos appear to be taken at a military base in Germany or maybe one of the camps. If anyone recognizes the Captain McMaster in these photos (I can email or possibly text message the photos if the attachments won't show them), please reply and/or contact me ASAP. You can contact me via email firstname.lastname@example.org (preferred method as I only have the free account so it might not let me message directly on here) or on here through the messagign system or this message board.
