Would it be possible to add the latest poll to the home page so that members could vote directly without having to go to the activities and polls links? Also if the latest results of the poll could be displayed on the home page in graph format it would encourage greater participation in the latest poll.

We are battling to get people to actively participate in any polls although potentially it is a great feature.

Polls can't be displayed on the home page at this point in time. 

However, when you add a new poll it will show up in the activity feed on the home page of your family site so everyone will see it.
