Hi. I added my boyfriend to my family tree (online version), but the program just changes my last name automatically to his last name as if i'm married. At time of adding, I didn't clicl the married or divorced option. Can you please tell me how I can change this, so I appear with only my own last name. In my profile and in the family tree it is ok, because I used the option in the account. But he still appears as my husband and in the weekly emails to my family my name appears with my boyfriends last name. Thanks.
Hi Lora. Thanks for your answer. But unfortunately this doesn't help. In emails and on the homepage you can see only my maiden name. But at birthdays and at the page for the people in the family tree my name states with the last name of my boy friend.
I have the same problem, my children are not married but they live together with their girlfriends. I want to add the girls, but not as their wifes. Bur when I do that, on the family tree they are married, even when I added them as partners,
