I am having a real hard time with this program, when a family member was previously married and brings children into the marriage, then they have children together, so you have 1/2 brothers and sisters. Somehow I can't figure how to address this in your program, as I want the blood children to appear on the family tree... Hope you can help... Thanking you... hope you can help..
The Family Tree Builder (FTB) software comes with a sample project: The Kennedy family tree. This sample project is separate from any project you might manage in FTB.
The purpose of this sample project is to give you an overview of what can be achieved with FTB and how exciting manaing your family tree via FTB can be.
I am not sure what you mean by "coming back as my family tree".
I noticed that you do not have a family tree in your family site at the moment.
Did you use FTB to publish a tree to your family web site and the Kenndey sample project got published to the site? please provide more information.
You can always remove the Kennedy family tree sample project in FTB by going to:
File > Manage projects >
Select the Kennedy sample project and click on the "Delete" button
I did like you said, but when I got into manage projects it wouldn't let me select Kennedy, but there was a Sept. date, but the delete button wasn't high lighted. Is there a way that I can uninstall the program and start over? Thanks for your help I really appreciate it.
FTB ships in with a sample project of the Kennedy family tree.
The purpose of this sample project is to give you an assessment of what can be achieved using FTB when managing your family tree.
The sample project does not guide you as what you need to do. It simply shows you how a fully-constructed family tree would look like.
You are welcome to open this sample project by clicking File > Open Project > and then choose the "Sample" project from the list. Most people just look at the sample project and then start constructing their own family tree.
To build your own tree, go to File > New Project > Give your project a name and then start having fun.
