I invited new family member to our family site and immediately on the homepage, I notice the following.

XXX YYY joined the site. Send a greeting  [Delete this]

But under the 'Site Members' section, I notice the following.

XXX YYYY Cousin's daughter     Never visited Re-invite  - View profile - More...

 It would be better to show the status on the home page (and also in Newsletter) only when they visit/join the site.
