I have started a tree online, but would now like to use FTB. I can download my tree as a GEDCOM and import it into FTB, but if I now publish from FTB will that create another online tree?
If that is the case then will I have to confirm all my Smart Matches again? Or could I publish back up to my original tree?
Only trees that are in the family site can be restored with the smart matches that you previously confirmed/rejected saved. This is because once the family tree dissappears from the family site, we no longer hold records of these smart matches results.
We are planning to improve the system, but for the time being this is the way it currently works.
