After being on Ancestry for 2 years I thought I would try Heritage, but after paying for the basic , I releised that I couldnt look up anything ,so signed up for the full premier membership, nothing to tell me how much it was. I have found it very difficult to research family members, the actual family tree is difficult to see, as when you reduce the size you only get the blank shapes, Im not happy, will not be renewing my membership, wish I had stayed where I was.
Please note that I have replied to your personal inbox in order to assist you with any problems that you may be facing.
Kind Regards,
Dean,
Hi Dean,
I have a question that may contain an answer that would be beneficial to the whole MyHeritage.com family.
If the information is not Confidential, or Private, WHY DO YOU NOT post the answer to a members question here???? Are you sending them information that should not be shared with another member? If not, please do us all a favor and post the answer to the questions here.
That way we could all profit from the answer and it seems to me would save you answering the same question for another member.
I think we have a great program and I have been very satisfied with the timely way Support has responded to my questions. This is just one of the "little" quirks that leaves me wondering.
We have nothing to hide sir, it's just sometimes a user may have more than one problem that will require me waiting for a reply to better understand the problem that they may be experiencing.
This way I get the user into my inbox and can assist them as quickly as possible and not fill the forum with ongoing correspondance that would make for lengthy reading which as we all know most people will simply skim over as it takes some time.
However, should there be more than one user within the same forum thread that is inquiring about the same problem then we will answer within the forum to benefit that community.
I hope that this has proven to be a useful explanation to you and I wish you a very good day.
Forgive me if you thought I was implying you were trying to "hide" information. That was not my intention at all.
It just seemed to me that others might be going through similar problems, but not know how to ask for the help. There are probably many of us who are not really proficient in our use of MyHeritage.
