I just signed up for MyHeritage and immediately encountered two disappointing problems:
1. A clear information that family tree builder is only available for Windows would spare a lot of problems and time.
2. If I search for my ancestors in Silesia (formerly Germany, now Poland) with concrete data about an ancestor born in the 18th century, I receive over 100000 references to contempory people all in the US without any reference to my concrete ancestor. The search engine allows for tons of categories, but not for specific places. How can anyone siff trhough thousands of records without the possibility of a refineded search. How disappointing.

Regarding the second problem I would suggest you use the filters located in the bottom left of the screen, the filters are named "First Name, Last Name, Place" and etc. If you click on them you will have an option to get specific results from these specific filters.
