I have my Family Tree Builder > Tools > Options > Smart Matching > Match similar last names, set to "Exact matches only". Why are 99% of my matches in Smart Match on My Heritage showing different surnames? I have sent four Ask an Agent by email messages to My Heritage but have not received any replies. Why would that be please?
The Smart Matches on your family site are separately maintained from those in Family Tree Builder at this time. It means if you manage your Smart Matches within Family Tree Builder, changes to matches won't be reflected on your family site.
The same goes for settings. You have more advanced settings in Family Tree Builder for filtering matches at this point in time.
