Rather than have us go though every tree and find the same matches time and again there should be a way to confirm a match in one tree and have it confirm all the same matches in other trees as well.
I do smart matches by PEOPLE: LAST NAME. Then if the computer shows, say six matches from various trees, it will also show in the SUMMARY, a figure for each detail (how many of the matches agree in that detail, with what I have in my tree. Name, date of birth, whatever.) And if that number is six for every detail, I will check the 'Confirm all the matches' box.
If the number is less I will confirm each (matching) one individually. Simple. What you were looking for.
I could not agree more. But the wizardry of myheritage would prevent your logic from ever occuring. Because they are in a world of their own and can only see their own refelctions - it is impossible for them to see any other opinion- no mattter how fantastic the "new " opinion is.
I have to say though, that while I agree and support your posting- I am at a total loss to comprehend the attached PDF. So can you help
